Practices:

  • The Curtsy –– indicative of our European education. We could curtsy the way Deborah Kerr (playing Anna the governess) did in “The King and I”.
  • The Drawing of the Crown –– each gem to be colored for each sacrifice or mortification
  • The Drive for the Missions in the Mountain Province — and the contests that were organized for that drive
  • Needlework and Belgian lace
  • Orion, Chaunticlere, The Flint

Events:

  • First Communion at the Chapel
  • College Day on October 15 — exhibits of our needlework and artwork, the games, the tombola (raffle)
  • Retreat

People:

  • Mother Redempta (Sister Redempta Biltereyst, depending on your generation)
  • Fr. Oscar Michel, CICM – school chaplain
  • Manang Polly and the other Manangs recruited from the CICM Mission House, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur
